Wagner Richardson is an Architectural Designer with more than 12 years of experience. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Wagner spent over a decade working on various projects before moving to the United States, where he has spent the last 2 years contributing to the field at MZ Architecture in New York. His broad experience spans both international and domestic projects, giving him a unique perspective on design and execution.

In his current role, Wagner is responsible for site visits to take measurements and generate architectural plans, structural plans, and technical documentation including plumbing, mechanical, and sprinkler systems. He ensures that all plans comply with the requirements of the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) and assists with various applications, such as BPP, SD1 & 2, and NYC Parks applications.

One of Wagner's proudest achievements is establishing himself within the competitive U.S. architecture industry after transitioning from his career in the Dominican Republic. Notable accomplishments include designing architectural plans for a 6-story residential building and a 2-story commercial plaza in the Dominican Republic. He also contributed to the post-earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti, where he was part of a team that reestablished communication infrastructure through the design of site plans for the installation of antennas and radio transmitters.

Wagner is motivated by a continuous desire for self-improvement and strives to grow both professionally and personally. He is passionate about contributing good values to his family and community, always looking for ways to make a positive impact in the spaces where he works.

Outside of architecture, Wagner enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, drawing, and listening to music. He is dedicated to giving back to his community and ensuring that the spaces he designs serve not just functional needs but also contribute to the environment and well-being of others.
